Longboarding spots

I’d like to get back into longboarding again, I’m new to the area and still a beginner long boarder! Looking for safe spots to practice and maybe make some friends? Also looking for spots to take my dog hiking in the area, I’m getting a state parks pass soon but open to free parks as well.
