I thought this game was gonna be more fun 😭

Rip me to shreds for going to the game’s sub to criticise it but I guess i’m just a little disappointed?

I’ve had my eye on Bannerlord for ages and it would be my first M&B game. I’m a history nerd and love rpg and thought this game would be perfect for me but the world feels so dead? Like I don’t know, I was expecting like an immersive, story rich, rpg game. But so far all i’m doing is going around a map killing random bandits and having random encounters with npcs in fields that look like an mid 2000s game.

And then all the towns are so dead, nothing happens, not one single NPC feels special or interesting so far, they all tell me the same things, all the citizens say the same things too… I don’t know I just wasn’t expecting this game to feel so empty. Does it get better? what is it about this game that made it so popular? I hate spending money on games and not enjoying it so maybe there’s something i’m not seeing
