Thinking of starting CAT prep
Hello mates,
I am a GEM guy studying tech branch at an excellent state engineering college (think DTU/IIITD/NSUT), and I honestly don't have much hopes of placements right now (seriously underprepared, at max kuch mid job lagegi). I was thinking of prepping for CAT 2025, because it's like almost full 4 months away. My profile is as follows:
Over 90% marks in both 10th and 12th.
Currently around 8 CGPA in clg (clg counts that as >80%).
Interned at a PSU and was part of the initial product R&D at a startup.
Served at the one of the highest council positions at 2 university societies.
What kind of percentile would I need to get into a top B school? And is it feasible to take a risk on it by investing most of my remaining time into CAT preparation? (I believe that it would aid my prep for consulting firms' initial rounds though.)
Could use some real, unfiltered advice. Thanks.
