Vulva/Vaginal Laser Ablation for VIN3 experiences? I'm so nervous!

I go on Aug 14th to have laser ablation basically on my inner vulva area. The skin between the labia majors and labia minora. Part is super close to my clitoras. I'm just looking for anyone that had been thru this so I know what to expect, especially post op. They are doing it under general anesthesia but I go home later the same day. My dr just said it will be like "an epic sunburn" down there. So I'm worried about pain, about walking, going to the bathroom, keeping clean. I'm not super overweight but I am plus size so I really want to keep things super clean. But any info or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
