tv series Smoke is another apple tv show, ruined by shaky cam. Apple just has 0 quality control over their tv projects.

i just finished watching sandman season 2 on netflix which looked incredible. 0 shaky cam. beautiful detailed shots. truly made by people who care.

then i watch the first episode of smoke and it is a disaster.

the shaky cam is so bad, that after the first episode, which last for about an hour, my eyes were so god damn tired and i felt like my head was spinning around. why does apple allow these fast food directors to make series like this?

every time they walk, the camera shakes. when they talk and they have long conversations, the camera shakes. also it moves in completely non logical directions as well. it feels if someone who is drunk, films this, or someone who edit these pop music video clips. what the hell is wrong with these people? do these people actually study film making? or do they just go to apple and say here is the idea, give me money and we will make it?

it just surprises me that a company like apple, which basically tries to be king of quality with their phones / tablets, computers, has 0 quality control over their tv projects and it just feels like a scam from these producers.
