Let’s have us some positivity…

  • Domenico Teti - a man who speaks more languages than C-3PO - is a superb appointment and brings a whiff of class to the Wolves. I imagine meetings now involve the consumption of espressos and amaretti biscuits.

  • Jose Sa is a quality goalkeeper. Fans get a bit sniffy because he didn’t cost £30 million and he occasionally gets flustered, especially when playing out from the back. His shot stopping ability is second to none, and I love his confidence and aggression when commanding his area. Wolves need a solid No.2 - Jose Sa has improved under Vitor Pereira and he is a perfect No.1.

  • An injury free Yerson Mosquera is one of the best centre backs to ever walk this earth. He’s an absolute unit, he’s super quick, intelligent, and he has the perfect amount sh1thousery to his game. Opposing players know they’re going to have a tough time when he’s on the pitch. I remember watching him on his debut and immediately thinking no one will ever get past him. Sadly, injuries have been his undoing. If he stays injury free, Wolves have a world-class CB.

  • Joao Gomes isn’t just the best midfielder at Wolves, he one of the best midfielders in the Premier League. You’ll struggle to get past one hand when listing Premier League central midfielders better than Joao Gomes. Have a go - think of better players in his position.

  • Jhon Arias is going to tear most Premier League defences to pieces. He looks like he could knock a fully grown rhinoceros clean on its arse. He’s going to draw record breaking levels of fouls.

Things have been tough for Wolves fans for quite a while, but FOSUN are making the right changes. They’ve cleared out a massive number of dross players; they’re going to get rid of more, and they’re (albeit slowly) building a decent squad capable of climbing the Premier League table.
