I'm a lodger plagued by insects
I've been living in an annex for about a year and there are several pest related issues which I think are related to damp in the hallway.
-
Carpenter ants are present in the hallway; I have put down salt but that is only a temporary solution
-
I am having to relocate around 2/3 harvestmen spiders a day
-
I found what I believed to be a false widow (distinctive markings) and disposed of it but concerned there will be others? I have swept all outside cobwebs and will try and dust more inside.
-
Moths
-
Some sort of flying insect (not a mosquito)
I feel like I am fighting a losing battle, I am constantly sweeping and hoovering to combat the ants plus I am disabled so it's just not a great situation. I spoke to my landlords but nothing has been done. Would really appreciate any advice regarding next steps.
