Job that would allow me to work in the UK and Germany

I currently work and live in the UK in an Office Job which is great, but it poses some issues my for myself and my partner.

I have been dating my partner for a long time and she is German, we try to make time to travel and see each other as much as possible but what typically ends up happening every year is that we both run out of Holidays after the first 6-8 months of the year and then we have to take either unpaid holiday or one of us is sat waiting for the other one to finish their work for the day before we can go out together.

I was just wondering if anyone has an idea if there are Jobs (In the IT sector would be great) that would allow me to work from either my home in the UK or my partners home in Germany without any issues.

I imagine this would be temporary till I can move to Germany but this may not happen for a few years so I am looking for something to bridge the gap.
