Advice needed - desire to get tattoo fades away?
Hi, this got a bit ranty but basically I've wanted this tattoo for a while, made a first appointment in May then cancelled it (in that case it was because I picked a guy with a completely different style than what I wanted), thinking I'd postpone it to after summer (September/November).
It would be my second ever tattoo and relatively big on my forearm, some illustrative blackwork wolf. I've gathered examples in a small document and found another artist with a style I like but haven't contacted them yet.
Now the core of the issue: I'm a very indecisive person who tends to fluctuate interests. In May I felt like I couldn't wait to get tattoed again but now as it's getting time to actual contact the artist I feel like I've "lost interest". I don't want it to become something I postpone forever as ai usually do but also considering it's a tattoo I don't want to force or rush something I'm not 100% into.
Sorry for the yap but just looking for advice, as most posts I've found are about post tattoo regret/indecision rather than before lol is it a common feeling? any insecure/flip floppy persons around to share how they approach tattoos? Thanks in advance
