Renegotiation on basis of valuations?
FTB feeling quite in over my head at the moment!
I've recently had an offer accepted on a house in SW England at £337k. Valuation from mortgage company came back at £310k (desktop valuation), fortunately I have a large enough deposit that this wasn't an issue. I've had a survey which has valued the property at 320k. (No other significant concerns on the survey)
My primary concern is that whilst I like the property it won't be a forever home (suspect will move between 5-10 years) so want to make sure I'm not making a rash financial decision.
Would these valuations be a reasonable grounds for renegotiation?
Cheers
