Broadcasting rights

Watching fox footy tonight .. in the ad break is a promotion for “Stan sports.. the new home of football… access from your Foxtel device”… I have a streaming version of Foxtel but I imagine the boomer boxes have a Stan sport link from their main screen.

What kind of fucked up streaming world do we live in now? One evidently where the home of football doesn’t have the a-league, and one where the new broadcast partner advertises itself on a rival streaming platform.
