Greetings nightfarers, I'm a bit late on this topic but I hope this post will be helpful to other trophy hunters like me playing solo. First of all, if you're lazy about reading, you don't need to defeat the nightlord, you need 6 purple weapons, 4 purple items and 2 talismans, I can't guarantee that you need a purple one but try to get one just in case. I know some people say you only need 3 purple weapons, but you need 6, and as proof use this link : youtube.com/watch?v=ogqee1PeyzU skip to 34 min and you'll see the guy getting the achievement by buying his sixth purple weapon. As for me, I got the trophy by buying my fourth purple item on day three, as you can see in the picture. Apparently stonesword keys don't count, I don't know if it's true so try not to keep one. As for how to get 6 purple weapons, pick ironeye for his passive, spend day one leveling up to level 10 if you can, do major bosses during day two for guaranteed purple weapon, try to get a village in your run so the merchant sells 3 purple weapons, they're expensive but if you don't level up after reaching level 10 you should have enough. As for talismans, it's the usual, nothing new here, the room above the castle's underground boss has a chess with a talisman inside, the scarabs give you one when you kill them, either pick a map from a fort to get their location or listen their sounds when you're close, and there are the towers with puzzles, I think it's called sorcerer's rise, if the rises don't give you a talisman, I think you can get a purple item instead. Lastly, for the items I recommend getting one or two smithing stones in the mines in case you want to upgrade your weapon to purple rarity, pretty easy to do, and save 75k runes for day three if you only have one purple item. Thank you for reading and I hope this helped.
