Should I just let her go or try one last time?
So I (29M) started seeing this girl (28F) a few weeks ago. Our first date was great—we clicked right away, talked for hours, and it just felt really easy. Second date, I went over to her place, we watched movies, made out a bit, and I thought things were going well.
Then out of nowhere, she told me she thinks I’m great and that we get along well, but she doesn’t feel a “romantic connection.” I respected what she said, but I texted her afterward basically saying I like her, I enjoyed the time and conversations we had, and if she ever wanted to take things slow and see if it could grow, I’d be open to it. Otherwise, no hard feelings. She didn’t respond.
Now I can’t stop thinking about her. Part of me wants to send one last message just to tell her I’ve been thinking about her and that I really like her. The other part of me thinks I should just move on and stop making myself crazy.
Would it be desperate to reach out again? Or do I just take the L and walk away?
