Positive preg test that turned negative

I just need to vent. Ive been ttc for about 2 years now. I did a round of ti on letrozole 10mg. I did ovulate and was given the ovidrel shot. I ovulate late in my cycle. We did have ti every other day as recommended by my doctor. I took a pregnancy test on 7/29 and it was positive!!! I never had a positive preg test so far so i was very happy but also very scared that it was a false positive. I took a strip test and a digital. Strip test was positive but the digital was negative. I asked a different reddit what this could mean and they said the digital test doesnt work well with pcos so my strip test was likely accurate. I was over the moon. Next day i woke up and decided to do another strip test to see if the line would be darker. I got my period. I heard that it could be implantation bleeding so i was still hopeful. I tested but it was negative. I was devastated and i still am. It was a period. I called my obgyn and they said i most likely had a fertilized egg but it most likely didnt implant properly. I am just so sad and feel so hopeless. Thank you for letting me vent
