First time playthrough on switch 2, use Zelda notes?

I’ve been playing with Zelda notes and about to do the 3 puzzle areas for that old guy with the glider, and I notice there are toggles for Zelda notes navigation map. One of them shows the whole map which is a spoiler, and other has categories. I glanced at them but I had no idea what I was looking at since it was an information overload. If I disable both of those spoilers, is there any point to the navigation? Should I use the navigation spoiler free, or just stick to the voice sounds.
