Quitting Valorant - tired of the community and the experience

My girlfriend and I have decided to stop playing Valorant, at least for now. It’s just not fun anymore.

We’re both Gold, playing casually in the Brazil server. Almost every time my girlfriend tries to make a call on voip, she either gets ignored or hears some dumb “joke” about women (the same old “should be washing dishes” type of crap.

We tried to brush it off, stay chill, mute people, keep playing (but it gets tiring). It just sucks the fun out of the game.

What makes it worse is that Riot doesn’t really seem to care. Reports don’t feel like they do anything, and the same kind of behavior just keeps showing up game after game. The community isn’t changing, and neither is the system that allows this to keep happening.

On top of that, we’ve had a bunch of matches with weird hit reg - bullets not registering at all, shots that should’ve hit and just… don’t. We even saved some clips because it started happening too often.

Anyway, not trying to make a huge deal out of it. Just felt like sharing this here. If things ever feel better, maybe we’ll come back. For now, we’re out.
