iwtl how to speak more articulate, sophisticated and expand my vocabulary

Hello IWTL reddit.

I want to learn how to speak more “sophisticated?” and articulate myself better than I do now along with expanding my vocabulary. OVERALL I want to improve my social skills and speech.

I grew up in an African American household and a very “low income area” (i don’t want to say “the hood” or anything) but I grew up in a very bad part of Baltimore Maryland and I grew up talking in heavy slang and cuss words. I say the N word almost all the time in which I want to stop. I moved out of Bmore a while ago and I live mostly in a white dominated area and people look at me crazy when they hear my accent or my way of speech. I know some of you might crucify me on here for this but, I don’t want to speak like this anymore. I want to sound more educated and sophisticated when I talk.

Any tips or advice on how to enhance my speech, vocabulary, Rid my accent or just overall learn how to speak better?
