Best controller

Hello fellow PS3 redditors

Relatively new PS3 owner here of around 6 months who's built a modest collection of 30 or so games looking for some controller advice

Currently I am using the Retrofighters pad for gaming which is convenient as it lets me toggle between the PS3 and my PS2

It does feel a little light though so I am seeking advice and recommendations about other decent controllers out there for the console

I've heard things about reliability issues with the DS3 and prevalence of fakes so just wanted other folks take before I invest in a new pad

Thanks in advance
