I’ve been here in Pune since July 29th, and not a single day has gone by where I didn’t miss home — my parents, my grandparents, my friends, my town… I’ve spent most of my time here crying and feeling completely out of place. It’s only been 2 official college days (weekend was off), and I already feel like I made a huge mistake.

The college is a mess. We’re doing irrelevant practicals — mechanical workshop for 1–1.5 hours, electrical experiments for no reason, and even professional English classes in engineering 😭. It just doesn’t feel like CSE at all. They said mechanical would only start after admissions are done, so why are we wasting time now? Literally 8:30-4:30 with only 2 lectures of actual learning in CSE :(

My roommates aren’t helping either. One’s my cousin total dumbfk, and the other is a guy from my hometown another dumbkfk — super immature, always invading my space, talking non-stop, peeking at my phone like I don’t deserve privacy. Just no peace at all.

I’m not sleeping well, I’m anxious, and honestly scared thinking about surviving like this for the next 4 years. The college is a private one, and not even great — I keep feeling like I’m wasting my dad’s money. But when I open up, he just says, “Don’t worry about money, education is more important.” I get it, but this doesn’t feel like growth — it feels like slow torture.

Most students here only care about “college life” and not actual learning. I’m just tired already. I really want to grow and make this count… but right now, I feel like giving up.i just wanna die or end this up asap

I want to leave this place asap 😭😭or need to end up
