Lower ab cramps + back pain

Background: I'm on my 3rd week, 2.5 mg. I'm post-menopausal with lifelong IBS-C. Weight is 199. Moderate exercise.

Hi everyone,

On August 1st before I took my 3rd shot I started getting a weird feeling in my lower abdomen. Almost felt like ovulation but I am postmenopausal. That feeling went away after about 24 hours.

From August 2nd to today, August 4th, I've been feeling mild continuous lower back pain. I just realized today that the back pain may be due to abdominal cramping, very similar to period cramping or labor causing back pain.

I don't work outside, I drink water all through the day, I drink electrolytes, I take vitamins. I'm not nauseated or constipated, and I don't have gas or bloating. (When I do have a little, it doesn't seem to make the cramping better or worse.)

I recently started taking Miralax to make sure that I stay ahead of my usual pre-ZB constipation. I've been going 💩 about once a day or once every other day. I take half to one cap of Miralax daily.

After doing some searching on the Zepbound Reddit, I see others mentioning cramping, but there doesn't seem to be a solution or clear reason.

I'm wondering if this is a side effect of Zepound or maybe a side effect of Miralax. I've taken stool softeners and laxitives before quite frequently, but not Miralax and not daily like I have been.

I'm just wondering what other people's experiences have been.
