Speaking Volume/EQ varies when recording
Hello! I’m new here, and new to editing really. I am recording some narration and I have a decent yeti microphone and I’m recording into Audacity. I have set up a temporary sound booth in my room until I can get a better one.
I noticed in my editing that my voice sometimes goes “fuzzy” or muffled in some places and then louder (in normal speaking voice) by like 4 dab or so in some areas. As far as I can remember, I’m not moving around or closer to the mic a lot when recording. I do talk with my hands but trying not to do that so much to prevent clothing sounds, not sure if that affects its.
Is this normal? Is there something I can be doing during recording to minimize this? It’s very annoying to fix.
Thanks!
