UK Visa Paris – Extremely Anxious, Please Help!

Hello everyone! Reposting with all the required info so it doesn’t get removed again.

I’m an Indian national currently interning in Paris, France, and I applied for a UK Standard Visitor Visa through VFS Paris on 29th July. I opted for the courier return service.

I’ve been feeling extremely anxious after reading posts about delays and people not receiving their passports. I urgently need mine back before 11th September, as that’s the last date I can enter Switzerland, where I study.

If anyone else applied in Paris and used the courier option, please share your experience.

Also, has anyone ever cancelled their UK visa application midway and successfully got their passport back quickly? I’m seriously considering it now because I really can’t afford to take any risks.
