In-laws destroyed pool - scum line help

So the in laws swung through, from out of country, and boy did they do a number on the pool. I have everything back to normal but man the scum line is still very visible after multiple cleanings. I believe it was their sunscreen as it looked very "creamy". I've used swirl away vinyl cleaner but need something stronger? Any recos?
