French Schengen in Bengaluru

I had applied for a French Schengen visa on 30th July afternoon, and received a mail saying my passport has been dispatched to the VFS center from the consulate today morning around 930AM.

Question - This was quicker than my experiences in non Schengen countries. What are the chances of the visa getting approved?

Question - How much time does it usually take for it to get couriered to a location in Bengaluru? VFS folks billed me for courier without asking so I'll be receiving it directly at my home. When I am checking on the VFS tracking page, it shows that it has been dispatched by courier, but I haven't received it today.
