Can i get a mac for my computer? Incoming sophomore

hey everyone!

I know it’s not recommended to get a mac for your computer, but would there be a problems with me getting one for IMSA? Anyone with a Mac, whats your experience with it? And why is getting a windows device recommend over a mac?

I’m more used to macOS over windows, and it would work a lot smoother with my other devices. 😭
