How to help with greasy hair?

Next day after hair wash my hair is flat and greasy. I feel like apart of that could be our water because we have well water and the softener broke recently. I noticed a change in my hair volume texture and overall look since water change. But even before my hair still had greasy problems. Dry shampoo works it’s just really heavy and weird on my hair and doesn’t last very long, applying it every so often makes my feel bad. So those with greasy hair how do I keep a fresh look without showering.

Mind you I also have bangs which doesn’t help with the greasy looks, I cant do that slick back hairdo sadly
