resident evil 4 on new m4 air 24gb ram 512gb ssd jumps ?

hello, im using my new macbook m4 air to play resident evil 4, and it's sometimes smooth but then other times the screen jumps. i tried with the trackpad and then tried with an xbox controller. it seems to slow down and the screen jumps a little bit sometimes, especially when there are lots of enemies on screen. is it the macbook or the blame of capcom probably? thanks. i paid about 20gbp for the game so im a little bit pissed that it doesnt run right on a top of the line new macbook.
