BMD pros and cons for new dog owners?

Hello! I’m thinking of getting a Bernese Mountain dog in the future. We’ve had dogs almost my whole life, but I’ve never had full responsibility (I’m 21). I’m thinking of getting a BMD when I am able tog etc my own place, this would be the first dog I was sole caretaker off. My question is - are BMDs good for first time owners? What are the pros and cons of owning a BMD? Are they harder or easier to train? We currently have a beagle and 3 corgis, none of which I like very much except for one of the corgis 😬. I’m hoping it’s just a breed preference, and not more that I’m just not a dog person. Any advice is welcome, thank you!
