Sore on inside of cheek

Yall please help. I have an excruciating sore on the inside of my cheek and dentist said it’s likely from an emerged wisdom tooth rubbing against the side of my mouth. I don’t know when I’m able to get scheduled for an extraction, it could be until December they said. I can’t live like this, can someone please recommend a remedy to heal this sore? This is the worst pain I’ve ever had I can’t eat or even talk properly
