14 minute layover enough time to catch Coast Starlight?

I'm taking the Coast Starlight from Sacramento to Seattle later this month.

I will be starting my journey in Fresno.

The San Joaquins line has one direct train from Fresno to Sacramento (8:16pm -> 11:35pm). I'm thinking of taking this train to get to Sacramento. I've read online that Sacramento is a fresh air/stretch stop, so I'm hoping that will make the transfer smoother.

However, the Coast Starlight leaves Sacramento at 11:49pm. Will this be sufficient time to transfer? I don't plan on checking any luggage so not worried about that. I'm primarily worried about delays between Fresno -> Sacramento that would result in me missing the Coast Starlight in Sacramento.

Has anyone does this layover before or have any other insight?
