Should I return my GPU?
I bought a PNY Epic-X 5090 a few weeks ago, but I recently found the Msi Vanguard on discount for about the same price. Should I return it for the Vanguard? I am planning on installing them in an Ncase M2 Grater in a Vgpu config.
For context, I am someone who cares a lot about noise. If I could, I would always try to run my fans silent (the max rpm that isn't audible). And I have heard that the Msi vanguard has better cooling than the PNY. On the flip side, I would not be able to mount 2 120mm slim fans at the front of my case (air slimmer 120s) and would only rely on 2 120 or 140mm fans at the bottom for fresh air intake if I go with the Msi Vanguard. Would the 2 extra 120mm fans make a big difference or is the gpu's own cooling more important for thermals/noise? The cpu would be a 9950x3d if that matters.
Does anyone have any advice on what I should do? Do I stick with the PNY and use 2 more fans or go with the Msi Vanguard?
