Local restaurant or food stalls to experience local cuisine of Malaysia

I'll be staying for 3 days in KL on August 25-27. I'll be staying near Quill City Mall since it's near Petronas Towers and KLCC Park. I am looking for an affordable restaurant or food stalls you can recommend that serves authentic and good Malaysian cuisine. I am eyeing Limapulo, since it's near the hotel I'm staying at as well.
