As the title said, I'm looking for someone interested in a long-term, slow-burn (maybe) RP that's full of tension, complexity, and the kind of chemistry that only exists when two people used to mean something to each other... but never got the timing right. We'll be talking about kinks and limits later.



Anyways, about my idea: They were close in HS — not best friends exactly, but definitely something. He was a quiet dreamer: a writer, a bit awkward, a guy who sat at the back of the class and made people laugh when they needed it. She was older, just by two years, but felt galaxies ahead. She was the kind of girl everyone noticed when she walked in. Platinum-blonde hair (even when she and other people didn't wanna admit it), Ocean-blue eyes. A voice like velvet when she spoke. Everyone said she'd go far: theater, voice acting, whatever she wanted. And she had a boyfriend. One of the popular guys in the year below her, maybe too perfect for his own good.Still, she and our boy clicked in their own way. She made him feel seen and cared-for, and he made her feel safe, real, happy, not just "the pretty girl who Always has to smile". But then graduation happened. She went on with her life, and he was left behind. That could've been the end of it.

Until now.

It's been two, maybe three years. He's in college (not his first choice, but close enough to home to help out his dad, who's been working himself into the ground). He writes scripts no one reads, plays the keyboard in a half-decent bar band, and pretends he's not stuck. And then one day, they run into each other. She's back. Maybe just for the summer. Maybe (and hopefully longer). She's still with the same guy, or maybe not. She's chasing something (an audition? a VA scholarship? a second chance?). She's still dazzling, but she's changed. And she remembers him.



Anyways, this RP is going to be very character-driven. I'm talking:

\- Nostalgia, missed chances, late-night talks under streetlamps

\- Unspoken feelings that threaten to boil over

\- Maybe FWB with that messy "we shouldn't, but we do" dynamic

\- Her ambition pulling her away vs. his fear of being abandoned and left behind

\- Late summer storms, bedroom window confessions, two people quietly falling apart or back together.



We can divide the RP into chapters or arcs . I’m also super open to building a shared timeline and adding side characters like her boyfriend (yes, she still might be dating him much to our guy's dismay), his best friend, her younger sister, whoever.



You'll be playing her (you're free to come up with a name, but her base name will be Riley): a stunning, complex woman who's the kind of presence you can't gnore. She's around 21, with striking platinum-blonde hair that just falls past her shoulders and angelic ocean-blue eyes that seem to hold both warmth... and a guarded sadness. She's tall and graceful, with an effortless beauty (and a quite curvy body our boy may say) that turns heads but also carries a quiet strenght. She's fiercely ambitious, chasing a dream of becoming a voice actress (she's a huge anime fan and COSPLAYS TOO), and acting has always been her way of expressing the parts of herself that she keeps hidden. She's deeply loyal to her high school sweetheart (SMH), but their relationship is ayered and complicated by the distance time and choices have put between them. Behind her confident and playful exterior, she's a little vulnerable, afraid of being left behind or misunderstood. She's someone who pushes herself hard, but also knows what it means to feel overwhelmed by everything life throws at her.



I'll be playing Benjamin, "the one who stayed", a thoughtful, slightly awkward 19 year old college student with a quiet passion for acting, writing, and music. He's got dark hair, warm brown eyes, and a lean but fit build from years of karate and late-night piano practice. He's too loyal for his own good, helping his dad balance the pressures of life while quietly nursing feelings he never fully admitted. Dorky, naive, and self-deprecating, he hides his insecurities behind quick jokes, sarcasm, and a gentle smile. He's the kind of guy who remembers the little things no one else notices, and carries a deep hope that maybe, just maybe, their paths weren't meant to stay apart.
