What would a financial planner pay for?

I am thinking of creating a business whereby i can sell my services to financial planners, i can be fairly skilled at excel where i can create tools (custom retirement planners and so forth), graphically reporting data and creating reports. I am knowledgeable in financial products (degree in banking and finance) but not certified. Do you think there is a gap whereby a financial planner will purchase a service that either they 1) can't do themselves 2) don't have time to 3) don't have a paraplanner / generally not paraplanner activities. I would work with local financial planners.
