Can Wardrobe Alchemy principles be applied to digital wardrobes or virtual styling?
I've been thinking about "Wardrobe Alchemy" -the idea of transforming and maximizing your existing wardrobe through clever styling, alterations, and repurposing- and wondering if the same principles can be effectively applied to digital wardrobes or virtual styling experiences.
It truly seems like there's potential. Rather of physically altering clothes, you might "digitally alter" them by experimenting with different color palettes within an app, virtually layering items, or creating mood boards to inspire new combinations of your existing digital pieces (if the platform allows for such things). Or maybe using AI to suggest repurposing a "digital dress" into separates by virtually cropping and pairing.
Has anyone explored this, or have thoughts on whether the core tenets of Wardrobe Alchemy (resourcefulness, creativity, prolonging the life of your existing items) translate successfully to the digital fashion space? What are the limitations or unique opportunities?
