At what point did LeBron become universally considered a top 3 player of all time?

In December 2014, Jalen Rose discussed his top 10 players of all time. There was a post on this very subreddit about it. You can read it here

There is a very notable omission. LeBron doesn't even make his top 10 (which is really a top 11). To me, looking back, this seems borderline insane as I thought LeBron had already hit top 5 by the time he left Miami, but clearly not in everyone's eyes. The comments don't make a big deal out of it. One comment asks "Lebron retires tomorrow. Where do you guys place him on this list?", in which the top reply is "I'd put him anywhere between 8 and 10".
