Relocating for a job
I currently live with my family in an overcrowded house, my bedroom was given away whilst I was off at uni so now I’m sharing with my mum on a camp bed, which at 23 years old is not fun.
I was made redundant from my last job, and now I have debts and medical bills to pay and no way of paying it so applied for universal credit.
I finally got a job offer for a property sales role and they need me to relocate for the job. I currently cannot afford a deposit and first months rent. If I get hired, I will be able to afford rent but that £1600 before moving in is looking mythical. The current start date for the role is 1st September.
I really don’t want to be unemployed anymore, it’s terrible for my mental health and I just don’t know what else to apply for or do.
Any advice?
