Guidance on "Torching Method" for Minor Tire-Turn Marks

Driveway was laid early June and has been curing for almost 8 weeks (coastal Massachusetts). Yesterday was the first time I drove on it, and a slight turn while repositioning the car left two minor depressions and a few loose bits of aggregate.

I’ve seen people mention the “torching method” but I can’t find clear instructions. What’s the right way to do it without making it worse?
