How to Book AIMA Appointment for Portuguese Permanent Residency?

Hi everyone,

I meet all the requirements to apply for Portuguese Permanent Residency (Art. 80.º). I have already applied for nationality, but while waiting—and since my residence permit only expires in February 2026. I am trying to get permanent residency in the meantime.

My issue: I cannot figure out how to book an appointment. I have:

• Checked AIMA’s website (lots of info, no clear way to apply)
• Tried calling (no luck)

Has anyone here successfully booked a permanent residence appointment recently? Any actionable advice would be greatly appreciated.
