Does anyone else find the fogvile hate just... undeserved?

I don't think I've lost a chase whenever a survivor pops one, like it's hard to see but it doesn't obscure your vision completely so more often then not you can just...keep chasing like normal. More often then not I consider it just "oh this person is wasting their item slot"
