To what degree and at what scale are people struggling financially these days?
We're all well aware of cost of living increases across the board, rents/mortgages, interest rates, utility costs, council tax increases, coats of goods and services and so on, and I would imagine not that many people have seen their salary increase at a rate that can keep up with this?
I ask this as I myself have struggled more financially the past couple of years than I did for the previous 10, pre COVID i was kinda chilling, my salary allowed me to live a pretty comfortable life, I could pay everything that I needed to, go out a couple of times a week and still have a little left over at the end of the month. But now I'm lucky if I can get out twice a month. For me, the amount for everything in my first paragraph has increased, and I have less money than I did like 5+ years ago with salary increases. And I just wonder how many people are in a similar boat?
