AC hasn't worked for 4 months — condo ignoring it even after Code Enforcement visit (Matthews, NC)

Hi everyone,
I live in a condo apartment in Matthews, North Carolina. My central AC stopped working on April 4, and since then, the indoor temperature has never dropped below 80°F — and now in summer, it’s consistently above 85°F in the living room/kitchen, and even hits 90°F+ in the bedrooms.

It's been 4 months, and the condo management has done nothing to fix it. I've submitted multiple service requests, gone to the office in person several times — no results.

About a month ago, I contacted Code Enforcement, and an inspector came out. He issued a formal notice to the property and told me they have 60 days to fix it, or they'll face civil penalties. But I really don’t want to wait another 30 days.

Also, in the lease agreement, it says that temperatures above 85°F are considered an emergency.

Any advice would be appreciated — I’m running out of patience with this.
