Can 2 anti islanding inverters keep each other active?

I'm guessing it's not a thing since I've never heard it discussed, but wanted to ask and be sure.

If I have 2 inverters, both anti islanding, will they both shut off in event of a power outage as designed, or is it possible one will create power the other sees and thinks is the grid, then the first sees the second the same way, etc etc keeping them both on and backfeeding creating a hazard?

Just curious how they know each other isn't the grid and knows to shut off when there's another device making power that could look like grid power.
