Where to donate used toys in the city?

Hello!

My spouse is a teacher and stopped their school from throwing away a bunch of old toys that are still in excellent condition, including a lot of stuffed animals.

Where in the city can I bring these? I'm not interested in giving them to a thrift store; I'd prefer if they went to children for free.

I saw a post from a few years ago that suggested Share Our Spare in Irving Park, but they are currently not accepting toys. The other organizations I have come across do not accept toys unless they are brand new.

I'm in the Uptown area, but am willing to drive anywhere in the city to make sure they go to a good home!
