What should I do with a boy who no longer says “I love you”
I ,20F ,have recently been in a tail spin. My entire life flew out from under me within the span of a week. I had multiple issues with some of my family members health(heart attack). My car broke down and went in the shop. Then I get news I might get suspended from college for a semester. I told my long term boyfriend 21M this and our relationship took a nose dive. We have been tg for 2 years and were serious. I had been panicking and telling him if I get suspended then I wouldn’t want him to feel guilty for breaking up with me. He informed me that if I get suspended he would stay with me only if I still lived in the college town for the semester. If I lived at my family’s home, 4 hours away, he would not wanna do long distance. This was disappointing to hear as I had thought our relationship was a bit more meaningful. I would’ve understood him needing to leave me because I am facing academe challenges and personal issues, but instead it felt like he is leaving because I’m not as convenient. We are currently long distance because of summer, so this was all done over the phone. The fight lasted about two weeks and peaked when he kept hinting and breaking up with me and me freaking out and saying he never loved me. He never actually said the words that he was breaking up with me but instead kept hinting at it. Since then we have decided to stay together and try to communicate. However, he is no longer saying “I love you” when we call each other.(multiple times a day). Does it sound like he is just waiting the relationship out? He graduates college in a year anyway so maybe he is just wanting to stay tg for the year out of convenience? Please give me some advice. I still don’t know if I’m going to be suspended for a semester or not.
