My husband only sees what he wants to with our son.

Our son is 11 and he a good kid. I mean a really good kid. He listens 95% of the time, he spends his free time playing Minecraft, reading, or watching PBS. He reads to his little sister. He’s whiny from time to time but who isn’t?

My husband can’t stand him. He says he disrespectful, hyperactive, and violent.

The kid has never been violent in his life. I asked for an example. He said the time he headbutted me. He headbutted me when he was 3. Or the time he had me in a headlock. He didn’t have me in a headlock. I was giving the toddler a piggy back ride and after I put her down he decided it was his turn because he’s a kid that doesn’t realize he’s almost the size of an adult.

His proof of hyperactivity? If he wins a Fortnite match he’ll take a victory lap around the kitchen.

And disrespectful? The way he chews. I’ll admit the kid chews like a goat but is that really the worst thing ever?

It’s like he wants to hate him.
