Period 10 months after getting hormonal iud?

I got my IUD last year and it has honestly been fantastic. I have (had?) PMDD and it has completely gone away since I haven’t been getting a period at all. Last couple days I thought I was getting sick, today I was woken up by terrible cramps and heavy spotting, and I’m spiraling tbh. Is this normal? What have other peoples experiences been with hormonal iuds and getting periods again?
