Console change? Perhaps?

Hello everyone how are you all doing. I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. So a friend of mine stuck the idea in my head to get an Xbox series X. Thing is I have my PlayStation 5 for quite some time. I'll be honest I'm considering but I'm not entirely sure. I mean I don't have any complaints from my ps5 but i don't know it feels a little empty. So my question is should I buy a series x now or wait until 2027 for the new console to be released. Every answer is appreciated a lot. Have a nice summer.
