No access to event reward shops until GR5?

Seriously, what the actual hell are these decisions?

You're telling me even if I put in the time to save up event currency to use at the reward shops for the current event, I can't even do that unless I'm Guardian Rank 5?

It's beyond absurd that you're forced to play even limited time events in a less efficient and worse manner if you don't want to be bothered with the power/Guardian Rank grind in it's current state which is completely understandable.

There's no reason for events to work like this now except for trying to force people into doing a power grind when they don't want to.

Thank God I didn't bother farming this event the entire time just to have a bunch of event coins going down the drain due to the current state of the grind in the game.
