Help with ban

I got banned recently without explanation but I'm assuming it's because hypothetically my friend may or may not have used my device to make a fake account for a few days (with a different phone and email)..

They banned that account, but also my normal Hinge that I've used for years. I submitted an appeal saying I can verify my account, so I got a link to submit my ID. I'm worried about them having my information, but am I okay to do this since I really can verify my own account and photos?

Or would it be better to just create another account on another device? I'd really rather just keep my same account
